Job summary

American Academy of Ophthalmology seeks a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon to join a seven-subspecialist practice supported by 5 clinics in Bettendorf, IA, and Rock Island, IL. The team performs 100,000+ visits annually with 500–1,200 cases per surgeon yearly.

The role includes competitive base pay with production-based incentives and a partnership-track with equity options in the medical practice and ASC ownership. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist with certification or eligibility.
• Board-certified or eligible in ophthalmology.
• Experience in cataract and glaucoma surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide cataract and glaucoma surgery as part of a multi-subspecialty team.
• Maintain high patient volume in a high-quality practice.
• Participate in weekly schedule with coordination across clinic locations.
