Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency and fellowship in gastroenterology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in gastroenterology by the appropriate medical board.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations of patients.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Coordinate patient care and referrals with other professionals and agencies.
• Educate patients and families and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
