Job summary

Piedmont Oncology is seeking a fellowship-trained breast surgeon in Georgia. The ideal candidate will be board certified in general surgery and have completed a fellowship in breast surgery.

Surgical procedures include mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and port placement for chemotherapy, among other breast surgery procedures. Piedmont Healthcare is a private, not-for-profit health system serving 85% of Georgia's population across 28 hospitals and 113 urgent care locations.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in general surgery.
• Fellowship-trained in breast surgery.
• Board certification required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and other breast procedures.
• Place ports for chemotherapy and other breast-related treatments.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary breast cancer care within Piedmont Oncology.
