Schedule:

Full-Time, Exempt. Standard Monday-Friday business hours.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

The Research Post Doc Fellow, is in training to help develop the academic knowledge and research fundamentals, teaching expertise and administrative experience necessary to be an exemplary researcher. Perform laboratory work and conduct research activities independently or in collaboration with the Principal Investigator. Publish results in scientific manuscripts and research publications. Participate in seminars, meetings, trainings and other educational sessions.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Exposure to and/or experience in research in a healthcare environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with in vivo calcium imaging and pre-clinical behavioral paradigms.
• Experience conducting motor behavior studies in rodent models.
• Proficiency in data analysis and programming using Python, MATLAB, R, or similar platforms.
• Experience with computational analysis of large-scale neural, imaging, or genomic datasets.
• Demonstrated scientific writing and presentation skills, including a track record of peer-reviewed publications or strong potential for publication.
• Experience working in collaborative, multidisciplinary, or multi-site research environments.
• Ability to independently manage research projects while contributing effectively to team-based scientific initiatives.

Education/Licensure/Certification:

MD and/or PhD, or equivalent doctoral degree. Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree by their anticipated start date.
