Job summary

The Cat Practice, a feline-only veterinary hospital in New Orleans, seeks a Veterinarian for full-time or part-time roles. You’ll join a team dedicated to cats, with a schedule of 8–12 patients daily and no ER shifts. The practice emphasizes low-stress handling, feline behavior expertise, and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) or equivalent (VMD).
• Louisiana veterinary license or eligibility.
• Genuine interest in feline medicine and compassionate care.
• Strong communication and collaboration with clients and team.
• Willingness to work at least two Saturdays per month as the hospital expands its hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical, dental, preventive, and surgical care focused on cats.
• Develop feline-specific treatment plans with autonomy within hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and support team to optimize patient outcomes.
