Cat Clinic of Destin, a 100% feline-exclusive veterinary practice on Florida's Emerald Coast, seeks a Managing Veterinarian to lead clinical care and guide medical standards while remaining actively involved in patient care.

You will mentor veterinarians, shape protocols, and collaborate with hospital leadership to drive growth, with a monthly leadership stipend and quarterly bonus opportunities to reward leadership contributions.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program.
• Active Florida veterinary license, or ability to obtain.
• DEA licensure, or eligibility to obtain.
• Clinical experience with the confidence to practice independently.
• Genuine interest in feline medicine, leadership, mentorship, and developing others.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented approach to patient care and leadership.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for feline patients, including wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, treatment planning, and surgery.
• Lead by example, helping shape and maintain high standards of feline medicine and patient care.
• Mentor and support associate veterinarians through collaboration, coaching, and professional development.
• Partner with hospital leadership on medical decisions, practice goals, and continued growth.
• Build lasting client relationships through education, thoughtful treatment recommendations, and compassionate communication.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture where great medicine, teamwork, and exceptional patient care come first.
• Support consistent medical protocols and accurate medical records across the practice.
