Feeder/Finisher Packer

About the Role

We are hiring a Feeder/Finisher Packer to support daily production and packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on position involves preparing materials, handling production rolls, identifying board grades, banding finished products, operating a roll pusher, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Day and Night shift available!

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around industrial machinery and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare rolls and materials for production
• Split and prepare cores according to production requirements
• Identify and verify different board grades
• Band finished rolls and materials securely
• Operate a roll pusher safely and efficiently
• Assist with feeding and finishing production processes
• Move and stage materials as needed
• Perform general housekeeping throughout the production area
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all production procedures and safety guidelines
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality issues
• Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to identify different grades and types of production materials
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to follow all required safety procedures and wear PPE

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform repetitive production and packaging tasks
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move materials as required
• Ability to work around moving machinery and industrial equipment
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
• Must be able to wear required PPE throughout the workday
