Job summary

Adams Land & Cattle in Broken Bow, Nebraska, seeks a punctual team member to join our Feeding team. The role supports safe delivery of feed to cattle on a rotating 4 days on / 4 days off schedule.

You will operate feed trucks, deliver precise rations, handle ingredients properly, report audits, and perform basic maintenance. We offer a starting wage of $19.00–$23.00 per hour with a $2,500 hiring bonus and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Job description

We are seeking a punctual and responsible individual who enjoys operating equipment to be a part of our Feeding team. This individual would play an integral role in the safe delivery of feed to our cattle every day. The schedule for this position is a rotating 4 days on and then 4 days off.This person will be responsible for:Operating the feed trucks in a safe manner.Delivering precise rations accurately and efficiently.Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.Reporting and recording all feed audits.Performing basic preventative maintenance, including replacing bits and changing oils and filters.Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:Mechanical interest and aptitude is beneficial.Understanding of proper bunk management.Commitment to safety and quality culture.Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.Driven, organized, action-oriented, analytical, and ability to multi-task.Individual must be team oriented.Proven professional communication, presentation, and customer service skills.High attention to detail.This position requires:Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly.
