Job summary

Goldeaglecoop is seeking a Feed Operations Generalist to support daily feed division activities, including administrative, operational, customer service, inventory, quality, safety, and compliance tasks. The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination to ensure efficient manufacturing and on-time deliveries.

You will collaborate with mill personnel, drivers, vendors, and customers, handling orders, records, and compliance programs while contributing to process improvements and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in agriculture, feed manufacturing, grain, livestock, or cooperative operations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily feed office and operational activities.
• Coordinate and process feed orders, deliveries, and customer requests.
• Support inventory management, product movement tracking, and record keeping.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
• Communicate with feed mill personnel, drivers, vendors, and customers regarding order status and logistical needs.
• Resolve routine customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
• Assist in maintaining feed quality standards and food safety programs.
• Support implementation of HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Maintain documentation required for audits, inspections, and compliance programs.
• Participate in safety training, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with corrective actions and follow-up on quality and safety observations.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documentation.
• Maintain data entry and records within company software systems.
• Support billing, inventory reconciliation, and purchasing processes.
• Organize and maintain files related to operations, safety, and compliance activities.
• Provide backup support for other feed operations team members.
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate across locations and departments to ensure operational efficiency.
