Job summary

Ag Valley Co-Op is seeking a motivated individual to support feed manufacturing operations in Nebraska. You will learn to operate equipment safely, assist with sequencing and documentation, and help prepare livestock feed to ensure accuracy and quality.

The role includes loading/unloading trucks, developing feed rations, and creating sales materials. You will build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal staff while pursuing studies in an agricultural field.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to operate the feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with performing necessary sequencing, recording, and documenting of all feed manufactured during shift.
  • Mix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality.
  • Load and unload trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Create, develop and execute feed rations and marketing strategies that capture maximum value.
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers, vendors, and internal staff.
