Job summary

225 George's Family Farms in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Feed Mill Receiving team member responsible for receiving ingredients at the feed mill and maintaining accurate records for each delivery. The role supports safe operations and contributes to efficient inventory control.

You will unload ingredient trucks, keep the receiving area clean and organized, and perform weekly housekeeping duties as directed by the manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of computers and math.
• Mechanical aptitude from previous work history.
• Previous feed mill experience preferred.

SUMMARY: The Feed Mill Receiving team member is responsible for receiving the ingredients at the feed mill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Unload ingredient trucks and record on appropriate documents.
• Keep a clean and safe receiving area and warehouse.
• Perform weekly housekeeping duties and other cleaning duties deemed necessary by manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

PUBLISHED PAY RANGE $18.00-$19.25/hour

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic understanding on computers, math comprehension
• Mechanical aptitude in previous work history
• Preferred Previous feed mill experience.
