This role will be responsible for

• Overseeing all aspects of production, delivery, maintenance, and customer service at the feed mill


• Ensuring efficient, quality-controlled feed production in a safe working environment


• Maintaining Safe Feed/Safe Food procedures and certifications, along with GMP compliance


• Managing inventory levels and ensuring quality assurance


• Leading employee hiring, training, and development initiatives


• Driving a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence


• Acting as a point of leadership for the entire mill team and supporting their growth

Expectations will include

• Leading and inspiring the team to meet production, safety, and customer service goals


• Holding team members accountable while fostering professional growth


• Tracking and reporting quality control data to leadership


• Promoting a proactive, solution-oriented mindset on-site


• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant facility at all times


• Occasionally traveling within the United States as needed


• Being physically capable of working in mill conditions, including lifting, climbing, and exposure to temperature extremes

A qualified candidate will possess the following

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a feed mill environment (batch feed, pelleting, grain processing, truck/rail operations)


• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills


• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams while maintaining a positive culture


• A strong sense of customer service and a passion for doing the job right


• Capability to work in physically demanding environments


• A self-motivated, detail-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement

Compensation: $115,000 + DOE
