Job summary

A family-owned farm operation in Nebraska is seeking a dedicated team member responsible for ensuring superior quality products are manufactured and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will manage ingredient inventory and ensure compliance with safety and bio-security standards. Responsibilities also include inspecting products, adjusting machine setups, and maintaining sanitation in the mill. We're looking for someone who can frequently lift up to 50 pounds and is able to operate a forklift.

Qualifications

Job Description

• Responsible for ensuring that a superior quality product is manufactured and delivered in a timely fashion while assisting in the management of inbound/outbound ingredients and finished feed.
• With the use of our technology, operator will ensure that the right feed is delivered to the right pig at the right time.
• Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Direct setup and adjustments of machines.
• Manage ingredient inventory levels based on usage and production needs.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Help to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
• Perform daily sanitation to all our areas of the mill and equipment.

Requirements

• Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
• Must be able to climb ladders on interior and exterior bins.
• Must be able to operate a forklift and turn a crank to hitch a trailer.
• Frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
