Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a maintenance supervisor to ensure quality feed production through proper equipment operation and a proactive preventive maintenance schedule. The role includes daily inspection of the feed mill and boiler room, and assisting the plant manager with the operations budget.

You will maintain equipment records, plant diagrams, repair records, costs and manuals, while leading a team on 1st/Day shift and promoting a strong safety culture across the facility.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and technical mechanics training.
• 3–5 years relevant experience plus 2+ years mechanical experience or feed mill, supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with 3-phase electric systems and hydraulics is expected.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and development; train operators and reduce downtime.
• Run and manage preventative maintenance system; coordinate repairs with vendors/contractors.
• Maintain equipment records, plant diagrams, repair records, costs and manuals.
