Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Feed Mill Dispatcher to ensure feed is scheduled, dispatched, and delivered accurately and on time. You will coordinate with drivers, farmers, and internal teams, maintaining records and supporting safe loading/unloading of feed.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00pm-9:00pm. Saturdays/Weekends as business needs dictate. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

• Coordinate feed delivery schedules with drivers, farmers, and internal teams.

• Maintain accurate records of feed inventory, delivery schedules, and driver logs.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve farmer complaints or concerns.
• Work closely with the feedmill operations to ensure efficient loading and unloading of feed.

Summary

Play a critical role in keeping our feed mill operations running smoothly as a Feed Mill Dispatcher. In this role, you’ll coordinate closely with drivers, farmers, and internal teams to ensure feed is scheduled, dispatched, and delivered accurately and on time. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and commitment to safety and quality will help support seamless operations and strong customer relationships across our network.

Principal Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.
• 1+ year of dispatch or logistics experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

When in a feedmill environment:

• Work is performed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes in temperature and humidity.
• Exposure to dust, grains, and strong odors in feedmill and farm environments.
• Regular travel to farms and facilities.
• Work involves standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50lbs) for extended periods.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, standing/walking, climbing/stooping.
• Possess normal hearing and vision to perform tasks safely.#LI-CR1
