Job summary

PILGRIMS PRIDE Ellijay Complex seeks a Utility Person to maintain the cleanliness of the feed mill and surrounding areas. The role involves sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste handling to support production operations.

Key duties include forklift-assisted receipt of bag ingredients, FIFO organization, and general maintenance tasks as directed by supervision. The position requires reliability and physical stamina in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• Duties include cleaning the inside and outside of the feed mill, sweeping, mopping, washing and dusting as needed.
• Receive bag ingredients into the feed mill warehouse using a fork lift and ensure proper organization.
• Maintain tidy grounds and assist with general upkeep as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the Feed Mill at all times.
• Keep grounds clean by mowing, weed eating, and picking up trash and spilled feed.
• Dispose of trash and waste feed into outside containers or landfill trailers.
• Dust beams, equipment, and railings as needed.
• Paint railing, beams, and walls as directed by supervisor.
• Receive bag ingredients using a forklift and arrange for FIFO usage; tape broken bags.
• Assist maintenance as needed to perform different job duties as directed by supervisor.
• Performs other related duties to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
