Job summary

Tyson Foods in Snow Hill, MD is hiring for a 1st shift feed operations support role. The position requires 6 months of field experience, clerical and/or feed mill background, and knowledge of DOT trucking procedures.

You will schedule and dispatch feed loads, process orders, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards. Candidate must be able to lift up to 60 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), work in varied environments, and be available holidays, weekends, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience in this field.
• Clerical experience and/or feed mill experience.
• Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred.
• Ability to read and write to receive and document orders.
• Ability to schedule loads of feed by creating and organizing feed tickets and maintaining them for record keeping.
• Ability to dispatch loads of feed and distribute them evenly among driver/team members within DOT rules and regulations.
• Ability to answer calls from Service Techs and Growers while maintaining a good working relationship with them.
• Ability to organize/flex task and change priorities throughout the day.
• Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
• Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
• Must reside within the United States to be eligible for employment.
