Central Valley Ag is seeking a Feed Delivery Driver (Class A CDL) in Utica, Nebraska. You will deliver feed products, providing excellent customer service while maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years driving experience preferred.
• High School or GED diploma.
• Class A CDL or Class B CDL and training in OSHA and DOT requirements or ability to obtain Class A CDL.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
• Good basic mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feed in bulk, bag or liquid in a timely manner.
• Perform daily truck inspections with documentation.
• Fill out DOT and maintenance logs.
• Maintain and service the feed truck to ensure proper operation.
• Assist in inventory monitoring of bulk, liquid, and bagged feed.
• Follow HACCP policies and procedures.
• Assist with loading feed products for customers.
• Assist with scale and counter operations.
• Support feed sales and marketing efforts.
• Help manage and conduct inventory.
• Communicate customer complaints to supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and relations.
• Perform general maintenance of buildings, equipment and vehicles, with documentation.
• Maintain professional appearance and cleanliness of trucks.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
• Comply with CVA credit policies.
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment.
• Assist other divisions and locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PURPOSE

As a Feed Delivery Driver at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for delivering great customer service by the delivery of feed products to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for prompt feed delivery in bulk, bag or liquid.
• Performs daily truck inspections with documentation.
• Filling out DOT and maintenance logs.
• Maintains and services feed truck to make sure it is in proper working order.
• Assists in monitoring inventories of bulk, liquid, and bagged feed.
• Follows policies and procedures of HACCP program.
• Helps with the loading of feed products for customers.
• Assists with scale and counter operations.
• Supports feed sales and marketing efforts.
• Helps manage and conduct inventory.

• Provides excellent customer service and customer relations.

• Maintains professional appearance and cleanliness of trucks.
• Assists in ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately and timely.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
