Job summary

Clemens Food Group is seeking an experienced Feed Mill Driver to service local farms. You will operate a CDL Class A truck, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries with safety at the forefront.

You will be home daily, work with a safety-first team, and participate in uniform allowance and holiday pork giveaways. Candidates must meet age and experience requirements and be willing to work in various weather and farm environments.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with air brake endorsement required.
• At least 21 years old with 1+ year tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record with a strong safety mindset.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and more than 100 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable working around farm environments, including manure exposure.
• Flexible for overnight shifts, holidays, and possible weekends.
• Willing to work in all weather and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a CDL Class A truck with air brakes to deliver feed on time and in full.
• Complete pre-trip inspections and check each load before departure.
• Communicate with dispatch and farmers to ensure smooth, accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload hog feed following GMPs, SOPs, and QA standards.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Uphold all DOT, state, and federal regulations for drivers.
• Represent Clemens Food Group with professionalism on the road and at farms.

Job description

As a Feed Mill Driver with PVT, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our farms get the swine feed they need, on time and in top condition. You’ll operate a CDL Class A truck locally, be home daily, and work with a team that values safety, accuracy, and professionalism.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate and maintain a CDL Class A truck with air brakes to deliver feed on time and in full.
• Complete thorough pre-trip inspections and check each load before departure.
• Communicate with dispatch and farmers to ensure smooth, accurate deliveries.
• Load and unload hog feed with care, following GMPs, SOPs, and Quality Assurance standards.
• Keep your equipment in top condition and promptly report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Uphold all DOT, state, and federal regulations for commercial drivers.
• Represent PVT with professionalism and courtesy, on the road and at every farm.
