Qualifications

  • MD degree or equivalent in allopathic/osteopathic medicine.
  • Full and unrestricted medical license in any US state or territory.
  • ACLS/BLS and required VA training are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to Veterans, including histories, exams, diagnoses and treatments.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies; prescribe medications as appropriate.
  • Participate in daily team huddles and care planning within the Patient Aligned Care Team.
  • Respond to clinical duties including urgent walk-in or telehealth needs; document in EMR per policy.
  • Refer to specialty care, social work or mental health as needed; ensure timely follow-up.
