Job summary

Benjamin F. Edwards seeks an Advisory Services Specialist to support fee-based advisory operations in St. Louis, assisting with fee billing, account setups, and fund disbursement.

You will liaise with custodians and asset managers to ensure smooth processing and timely commissions for advisors. The role requires 3+ years in financial services and a bachelor’s degree. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Orion and Power Automate are preferred, along with knowledge of SEC/FINRA

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in financial services; fee-based advisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and maintain fee-based advisory accounts, including client billing and advisor compensation.
• Coordinate with custodian and third-party asset managers on account setup and funding.
• Review fee-based advisory accounts for timely asset investment, feebilling, and fund disbursement.
• Liaise with external billing teams and Finance on advisory feebilling matters.
• Collaborate with Trading Services and asset managers on trading inquiries and reconciliations.
• Support the firm’s advisor-directed advisory program with other home office teams.
