Northwest Partners is seeking an experienced Security Compliance Technical Writer to support a project with a leading client in the technology sector. The role involves producing high-quality, audit-ready documentation to facilitate the client's FedRAMP compliance journey.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without additional visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive FedRAMP documentation, including the System Security Plan (SSP) and related artifacts.
  2. Collaborate with technical teams, security engineers, and compliance stakeholders to gather accurate content.
  3. Ensure documentation meets standards for assessment by a Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO).
  4. Translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation suitable for audits.
  5. Review and update documents based on stakeholder and auditor feedback.
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in writing FedRAMP documentation, including SSPs and security control narratives.
  2. Strong understanding of FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53 controls, and 3PAO assessment processes.
  3. Excellent technical writing, editing, and formatting skills focused on clarity and compliance.
  4. Experience working with cross-functional teams in security, engineering, and compliance.
  5. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and respond promptly to revisions and auditor requests.
