Swan And Associates Incorporated in Quincy, MA is hiring a Delivery Driver to join our local delivery team. You will safely operate a company-provided vehicle, load and deliver packages, and provide excellent customer service.

This full-time role offers paid training, weekly pay, health insurance, PTO, and a company vehicle. CDL not required; strong safety and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs and maneuver packages.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• No CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle.
• Load, unload, and deliver packages to homes and businesses.
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to designated locations.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and follow traffic laws.
• Verify package accuracy and maintain delivery documentation.

Schedule:

• Full-Time: 5 days per week, including one weekend day

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle
• Load, unload, and deliver packages to designated locations
• Ensure timely and accurate package deliveries
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes while complying with traffic laws and safety regulations
• Verify package accuracy and maintain required delivery documentation
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues
• Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle
• Report vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations promptly
• Follow company delivery and safety policies
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Age 21 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs., including bending, lifting, and maneuvering packages in and out of the delivery vehicle
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Prior courier or delivery experience is a plus
• No CDL required
