D&FM Transport in Barrington, NJ is seeking reliable Delivery Drivers for safe, on-time package delivery. You will operate a box truck, load/unload goods, verify shipments, and provide excellent customer service at each stop.

No CDL license is required. We offer paid training, a path to full-time status based on performance, and benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO, with weekly pay opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

D&FM Transport is currently seeking reliable and responsibleDelivery Driversto join our team. As a delivery driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for delivering packages to our valued customers in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, maintaining their condition upon arrival.
• Load and unload packages.
• Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Verify the accuracy of packages and ensure proper documentation for each delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating during deliveries.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding delivery operations and safety protocols.
• Represent the organization in a positive manner at all times, maintaining a professional image.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 Years or above.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to clear Pre-employment Background and Drug Screening.
• Prior experience with courier services is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs; bending, lifting, and maneuvering in and out of delivery truck to front door or access point of delivery address.

Pay Structure

• Paid training at $150/day.
• Upon completing training, drivers enter a Probationary Period of up to 3 weeks.
• No experience: Starting pay $19/hr, increasing to $20/hr after meeting performance expectations.
• Experienced drivers: Starting pay $20/hr, increasing to $22/hr after meeting performance expectations.
• Upon successfully completing the probationary period, drivers advance to Full-Time status with performance-based pay and continued growth opportunities.

Performance Expectations

• 20+ stops per hour.Meeting these targets determines retention, pay increases, and promotion to full-time status.
• Weekly Pay
• Pay: $200/day - $250/day
• Safety Bonus: $50/week
• Rescue Bonus: $25–$50 (depending on workload)
• Call-In Bonus: Extra pay for covering unscheduled shifts
• Peak Season Bonus: $100–$150/week (when performance expectations are met)
