Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and motivated FedEx Pickup & Delivery (P&D) Drivers to join our team! As a P&D Driver, you'll be the face of our company, delivering packages to customers and picking up shipments with efficiency and care. This role is perfect for self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working independently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Safely operate a delivery vehicle (e.g., step van or box truck) to deliver and pick up packages along assigned routes.
2. Load and unload vehicles, ensuring packages are handled with care and accuracy.
3. Scan and track packages using FedEx-provided handheld devices.
4. Provide excellent customer service, including resolving basic delivery inquiries.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and FedEx operational standards.
6. Complete daily paperwork and logs accurately.
7. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.

Qualifications

1. Must be at least 21 years old.
2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the past 3 years).
3. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
4. Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
5. Prior delivery or courier experience is a plus, but not required.
6. Strong time-management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
7. Comfortable using technology (e.g., scanners, GPS, smartphones).
8. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak season overtime.
