Leggio Distribution in Saint Rose, LA is seeking delivery drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering packages safely and on time in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a professional appearance.

No CDL is required, and the role offers weekly pay, paid training, and PTO. The position involves driving a box truck, loading/unloading, and following efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening required.
• Experience with courier services is a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery while maintaining package condition.
• Load and unload packages.
• Plan efficient routes and adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Verify package accuracy and documentation for each delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and be professional during deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Safelyoperatea company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages todesignatedlocations.
• Ensuretimelyandaccuratedelivery of products,maintainingtheir condition upon arrival.?
• Load and unload packages.
• Plan and follow the most efficient route fortimelydeliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Verify the accuracy of packages and ensure proper documentation for each delivery.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating during deliveries.
• Collaborate with the dispatch team tooptimizedelivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisorimmediately.
• Adhere to company policies and proceduresregardingdelivery operations and safety protocols.
• Represent the organization in a positive manner at all times,maintaininga professional image.

• Must be able to clear Pre-employment Background and Drug Screening.
• Prior experience with courier services is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Good communicationskills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to lift packages up 150Ibsbending, lifting, and manoeuvring in and out of delivery truck to Front door or access point of delivery address.

4 to 6 Days a week
