Job summary

Coastline Package Services Inc in Durham, NC is hiring regular full-time and part-time FedEx Delivery drivers to handle local residential and business deliveries. CDL license is not required. Earnings range from $800 to $1,800 per week and training is provided.

You'll operate a delivery vehicle, perform up to 150 stops per day, and provide excellent customer service while following safety and DOT requirements. Join an urgent, immediate hiring effort.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with random drug screens throughout employment.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Be able to lift up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck.
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work and be on time.
• Be able to climb stairs and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate your vehicle safely at all times.
• Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences, up to 150 stops per day.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection and load daily deliveries.
• Load vehicle and organize daily routes.
• Work independently and with the team; provide excellent customer service and communicate with the manager.
• Accurately use the scanner and track delivery process.
• Ensure accurate disposition of packages and timely route completion.

Requirements:

• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check

• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

Daily Duties include but not limited to:

• Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 150 stops a day
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
• Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.
• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
