Job summary

TYMAC OF STRASBURG INC in Cambridge, Ohio is hiring regular full-time and part-time FedEx Delivery drivers with driving experience to handle local residential and business deliveries. CDL license not required; earn between $1,000 and $1,200 per week with paid training.

Your vehicle must be operated safely, and you will routinely perform up to 150 stops a day, loading deliveries and providing excellent customer service while using a scanner to track the process.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Pass a drug test with random screens throughout employment
• Pass a DOT physical
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs (150 lbs with hand truck)
• Pass FedEx Ground background check
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicle at all times
• Deliver and pick up packages for businesses and residences (up to ~150 stops per day)
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and load daily shipments
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with manager
• Use scanner accurately and track delivery process
• Ensure proper disposition of packages and pickups
• Complete route in a timely manner

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
• Pass a DOT physical
• Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck
• Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
• Have reliable transportation to and from work - Be on time and ready to work each workday
• Be able to climb stairs
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude

Daily Duties include but not limited to

• Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
• Delivery and pick up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 150 stops a day
• Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
• Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loadsWork independently and as part of a team
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager
• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.
• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
