  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments at the same time.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The student will work with the Communications department to produce engaging visual content as part of GGC’s Student Influencer Program. This person will help promote the college and highlight the student experience at GGC by conceptualizing, shooting and editing videos for GGC’s social media. This is an office-based position, reporting to the Digital Communications Specialist and the director of Digital Communications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ideas for content to share on GGC’s social media pages.
  • Film assigned content each week.
  • Edit videos according to established standards.
  • Submit video drafts on or before deadline.
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss ideas and analyze content.
  • Serve as an ambassador of the GGC brand, maintaining professionalism during on-camera appearances and/or behind the scenes.
  • Other duties as directed.
Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in filming video with a cell phone.
  • Familiarity with editing software such as CapCut, TikTok, Premiere Pro, etc.
  • Creative and outgoing personality.
