Job summary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking a Special Agent whose psychology or counseling background informs investigations into cyber, terrorism, fraud and public safety threats. You’ll apply analytical thinking, data analysis, and attention to detail to identify patterns and support investigations that protect national security.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance, willingness to travel, and a bachelor’s degree or higher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college (psychology or related field preferred).
• Background in psychology/counseling applied to investigations and behavioral analysis.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in investigative demands.
• Create and maintain liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international agencies.
• Maintain physical fitness to perform law enforcement duties.
