GhostRx is recruiting a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for the Ancillary Care Clinic at the Phoenix VA Health Care System’s Carl T. Hayden Veterans’ Affairs Medical Center, a federal teaching hospital in central Phoenix.

The role runs Monday–Friday day shifts (7:30AM – 4:00PM) and supports outpatient specialty and ancillary clinic operations by rooming Veterans, obtaining vital signs, performing medication reconciliation, injections, and assisting providers while managing clinic

Qualifications

• Active, current, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in any U.S. state.
• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN/LVN experience; outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Bachelor-level nursing degree not required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Room Veterans, obtain and document vital signs, chief complaint, and health history.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered; perform immunizations.
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing and EKGs within the LPN scope.
• Maintain clinic flow and coordinate follow-up appointments.
• Document care in VA EHR CPRS/VistA and report patient status changes.
