Job summary

Improvix Technologies is seeking a mid-level .NET Developer to support a federal program delivering high-visibility mission outcomes. You will work with senior developers to maintain and enhance applications built on Microsoft technologies, focusing on .NET development and application support.

The role involves on-site collaboration in Washington, DC, with occasional Saturday deployment activities. A bachelor’s degree and 3–6 years of .NET experience are expected, along with knowledge of C#,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 years of .NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, and web fundamentals.
• Experience with SharePoint 2013 or newer in a supporting/legacy role.
• Experience with MS SQL, Entity Framework, and REST APIs.
• Experience using Git or TFS for source control.
• Exposure to React or Angular (preferred, not required).
• Understanding of Active Directory and application security.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET-based applications for a federal mission.
• Support legacy SharePoint-backed systems during modernization efforts.
• Perform operational support, bug fixes, and minor enhancements.
• Assist with deploying code changes and supporting frequent releases.
• Collaborate with leads and teammates to meet delivery timelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and test applications for stability and performance.
• Work onsite with the team to enable rapid collaboration and delivery.
