Qualifications

• Citizenship requirement: must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a public trust clearance.
• Driving record: valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: experience in mail handling, courier services, or delivery operations preferred.
• Physical ability: lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical mail operations.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of a cargo van and adherence to routes and schedules.
• Collect and deliver mail from mail centers and designated locations on scheduled routes.
• Ensure all mail is handled securely and in compliance with security protocols.
• Maintain records of mail activity, including pickups, deliveries, and postage usage.
• Ensure vehicles are operated safely and never left unattended with mail inside.
• Communicate proactively with supervisors regarding mail status, issues, or delays.
