Qualifications
Minimum five years’ law firm experience as a defense litigation legal assistant.
Experience coordinating with multiple attorneys across matters.
Strong knowledge of Federal and State court rules and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and law firm billing/case-management software.
Responsibilities
Handle case openings, conflict checks, billing, records, and related tasks.
Schedule hearings and appointments with attorneys.
Draft and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Track firm, attorney, and client expenses and process reimbursements.
Assist with client billing and entering narratives; deliver bills in electronic and paper formats.
Manage electronic and paper case files; handle mail and calls.
