Orionplacement in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced federal litigation attorney to own the docket from strategy through filing, hearings, and appeals. You will manage a litigation team and work on high-impact cases involving habeas, mandamus, APA claims, and Fifth Circuit matters.

This hybrid role requires 5+ years of federal litigation, an active license in good standing, and admission to the Texas federal district court or the Fifth Circuit (or a clear path to admission).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of federal litigation experience.
• Active law license in good standing in any U.S. state.
• Admission to a Texas federal district court and/or the Fifth Circuit, or a pending admission path with availability within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Own the federal litigation docket from strategy through filing, hearings, appeals, and resolution.
• Handle habeas petitions, mandamus, APA claims, and related federal court actions.
• Draft, review, file, and manage deadlines for federal court submissions.
• Lead and manage attorneys, paralegals, and outside counsel on litigation matters.
• Coordinate with immigration attorneys to align federal litigation with USCIS, detention, or removal matters.
