Job summary

Arc Aspicio is seeking an IT and Solutions Architect to lead architectural design for large federal IT programs, focusing on cloud-native solutions. The role requires 7-8 years in complex IT projects, with cloud experience (AWS), and an ability to engage with senior government clients to oversee implementation from design to delivery.

The position supports hybrid work across client sites, Arc Aspicio's DC office, and occasional remote work, with a requirement to reside in the Washington, DC area

Qualifications

• 7-8 years of relevant experience on complex IT projects using an Agile or similar lifecycle in Federal government technology environments
• 4 years of experience supporting and testing cloud-based technology (e.g., AWS)
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing a modernized software application
• Experience with AWS native services, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Java, WSDL, DNS, SOAP, REST, XML, CMKs, and TLS
• Experience with client and stakeholder engagement including senior-level leaders in a complex environment
• Clearance: U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to the Government chief architect, applying expertise in cloud solutions and delivery of large, complex IT solutions
• Develop innovative solutions across technologies to meet future government needs
• Assess current programs to plan modernization and smart technology adoption
• Develop AI solutions to advance government mission initiatives
• Work with a development team to design legacy application modernization
• Perform code reviews of legacy architecture and identify improvements
• Provide quality assurance and oversight
• Consult with SMEs to align business and technical requirements
• Assist on additional Engineering projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with clients to deliver outstanding service and mission results
• Apply consulting, business analysis, and communication skills to identify and solve problems
• Support new business opportunities and company growth
