Job summary

A national management consulting firm is seeking an Inventory Logistics Support Services Project Manager in Portsmouth, VA. The role requires managing logistics support for the Coast Guard’s Command, Control, and Communications Engineering Center. Ideal candidates will have extensive logistics management experience, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position requires travel in compliance with Federal Travel Regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Federal Logistics Management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience leading a Logistics Management Team.
• Minimum of 3 years of ALMIS, AMMIS, NESSS, FLS, and FedLOG experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a system and item-level technical, acquisition, and support service management.
• Load/induct new assets to stock/inventory.
• Manage material received/held/stored in the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Inventory Control Point (ICP).

Skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products

Leadership experience

Knowledge of various USCG support databases
