Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Senior Red Hat Architect to lead the hybrid cloud platform for federal mission systems. You will own technical credibility, drive platform engagements above $3M, and deliver secure OpenShift-based environments across IL5/IL6 with STIG compliance.

Responsibilities include shaping opportunities with account leaders, building reusable accelerators, and partnering with Red Hat and IBM teams to accelerate delivery timelines and win differentiated platform pursuits.

Qualifications

Ten or more years of enterprise platform engineering or architecture experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible Automation Platform in production.
Hands-on experience deploying and hardening Kubernetes-native platforms to federal security standards (DISA STIG, FedRAMP, IL5/IL6).
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering hybrid cloud infrastructure for federal clients (DoD, civilian, IC).
Client-facing experience leading technical solutioning on engagements valued at $3M+.

Responsibilities

Serve as the client-facing technical authority on platform pursuits and shape opportunities into engagements of $3M+ signatures.
Design and deliver secure hybrid cloud platforms using Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, Terraform, and Vault for federal depth and STIG compliance.
Build accelerators (STIG-hardened OpenShift references, VMware migration factory, cATO automation) to accelerate delivery timelines.
Lead platform demos and PoCs to differentiate in competitive pursuits.
Collaborate with IBM Technology, Red Hat field teams to expand deal size and advance platform-layer strategy.
