Zusammenfassung

Dow is seeking a Government Affairs Leader in Washington, DC to drive federal advocacy and policy engagement. You will work with Members of Congress, staff, and Administration officials to advance Dow’s priorities, translate business needs into effective advocacy, and monitor developments across the federal landscape.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience (U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class/Sergeant)
• 6+ years in government affairs/public policy or related field
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided

Aufgaben

• Advocate for Dow’s priorities with Members of Congress, staff, and federal agencies
• Serve as a registered federal lobbyist for Dow on legislative and regulatory issues
• Develop bipartisan relationships with policymakers and staff
• Execute advocacy plans in coordination with Government Affairs leadership and business units
• Monitor federal developments and identify opportunities/risks for Dow
• Provide political intelligence and translate findings into advocacy actions
• Create advocacy messages, talking points, and briefing materials for policymakers
• Engage with trade associations and coalitions to progress shared priorities
• Support Dow senior leaders in engagement with Congress and Administration officials
• Build relationships with business leaders to represent Dow’s priorities externally
• Identify opportunities to shape legislative/regulatory outcomes
• Support employee political engagement and DowPAC participation where permitted
• Ensure lobbying activities comply with laws, regulations, and Dow policies
