The mission of the client service delivery team at SMX is to create and deploy innovative products to our federal customers. The CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend (BAS) solution is a planning and reporting solution pre‑built for the federal government and operating on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
This is a unique and exciting leadership role that allows an experienced federal financial professional to leverage deep expertise in budgeting, planning processes, and team development to help build and implement our next‑generation planning application.
We are seeking an energetic, strategic, and collaborative Federal Financial Team Lead to guide a functional team. You will provide leadership in solution development, serve as the liaison to the technical team to ensure functional requirements are realized in technical development, and ensure delivery excellence across project phases. This is a full‑time position that is 100% remote and will require minimal travel <20% and requires a Public Trust clearance.
As the Federal Financial Team Lead, you will operate at the intersection of financial management, business processes, data analytics, and technology. In this role, you will provide day‑to‑day guidance and leadership to a team of three functional analysts. You will partner with government stakeholders to analyze complex financial and business processes, develop actionable insights, and support strategic decision‑making through data‑driven solutions.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$130,000—$218,200 USD
