Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking financial management professionals to support FCA Energy & Environment clients across federal agencies, including DOE, Interior, EPA, DNFSB, and NSF. Incoming Senior Consultants will assist CFO organizations with internal controls, financial reporting, and process optimization.

Role involves audit support, applying GAAP/ICOFR, and developing analytic tools; candidates should have 5+ years’ experience and a US citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Five(5) years of relevant professional experience in consulting, finance, accounting, operations, or analytical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in client service and team-based environments, especially when tackling unstructured problems.
• Strong attention to detail, well organized, and able to self-prioritize multiple activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support financial statement audit cycle, strategy and execution, oversight and reporting, and development of audit infrastructure.
• Apply GAAP, GAGAS, ICOFR, OMB Circular A-123 and GAO Green Book principles.
• Support audit remediation, including Agency-wide remediation support and CAPs.
• Lead internal control design and testing.
• Support development of analytic products, reconciliations, dashboards, or automation workflows.
• Facilitate client working sessions and support senior client stakeholders.
• Collaborate across Guidehouse practice areas to bring integrated solutions that combine strategy, technology, and operations.
• Support new business by contributing to account growth strategies, preparing proposal responses to the Government, and developing client relationships.
