Job summary

FieldAI’s Irvine team leads the development of field-ready AI systems and robotics solutions. We seek a Federal Staff Project Manager to drive complex tech programs from conception to completion, coordinating across engineering, field operations, product, and business teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and proven project management skills to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality, risk‑aware solutions for government projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business, or related field.
• Six+ years of project management, program support, or operations in a technical organization.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into structured tasks and timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experience coordinating across engineering teams.
• Proficiency with project tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Monday) and related systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance or export control authorization for defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic execution across multi-project portfolios, milestones, budgets, and resourcing.
• Align stakeholders and cross-functional teams on scope, dependencies, risks, and timelines for robot deployment programs.
• Coordinate go-to-market readiness with product, operations, and customer success teams.
• Track program performance, monitor risks, and report progress, financials, and ROI to leadership.
• Prepare strategic communications for executive updates, board materials, and investor presentations.
• Identify and unblock risks and drive resolution to keep programs on target.
