Job summary

BB&E is seeking an Energy and Water Manager to support the EWMP at NASA Glenn in Cleveland, OH, with a secondary site in Sandusky. The role focuses on energy management, water conservation, and conformance to DOE 50001 Ready and site policies.

The candidate will coordinate performance plans, collect data, and develop strategies to minimize energy and water use while ensuring safety and mission operations. A BS in a related field is required, plus six years of federal experience.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more years of relevant experience in environmental compliance, water and energy conservation for NASA, DoD, or other federal agencies.
• RCRA Hazardous Waste Management training, DOT Hazmat Employee training, and OSHA HAZWOPER training (minimum 24 hours)
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Support EWPP development, data collection, metrics, targets, and EW consumption reduction strategies.
• Perform building energy audits every four years to meet CEWE requirements under EISA 2007.
• Attend Energy Exchange training through FEMP or equivalent annually for NASA.
• Coordinate HQ functional reviews and keep action items tracked to closure in the agency system.
