Job summary

United States Attorneys' Offices in San Francisco or Oakland seeks an Assistant United States Attorney to prosecute federal crimes and lead complex litigation in collaboration with law enforcement. The role requires a J.D.

degree, admission to the bar, and at least three years of licensed attorney experience. You will draft motions, warrants, and respond to motions, appear before grand juries, and represent the United States in hearings, trials, and appeals.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member in good standing of the bar, and have at least three years of licensed attorney experience.
Must reside in the district or within 25 miles; California-specific guidance applies.
United States citizenship is required.

Responsibilities
