Scope of Work

Review and evaluate realistic federal criminal investigation scenarios for accuracy, clarity, and procedural integrity.
Provide detailed written and verbal feedback explaining investigative strategies, decision-making processes, and risk assessments.
Document investigative steps, case management workflows, and compliance measures using your expertise in GS-1811 or GS-1801 roles.
Assess documentation for adherence to criminal law, evidentiary standards, and ethical considerations.
Support the design of AI learning materials by validating and updating content based on real-world federal investigation practices.
Collaborate with project managers and fellow contributors to discuss findings, clarify requirements, and ensure quality of deliverables.
Identify gaps in case documentation or investigative logic, recommending improvements for enhanced AI performance.

Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience as a Federal Criminal Investigator, particularly in the GS-1811 Criminal Investigator or GS-1801 General Inspection, Investigation, Enforcement, and Compliance series.
Strong command of criminal law, investigative procedures, and federal regulatory frameworks.
Proven background in complex casework, including evidence handling, witness interviews, and case documentation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain nuanced investigative concepts to varied audiences.
Demonstrated stress tolerance and adaptability when working with sensitive or challenging material.
Experience participating in or supporting training, compliance, or AI/data annotation projects is a plus.
