Job summary

Pro2Serve seeks a Cost Estimator to support government clients (DOE, DoD, USACE) from our Knoxville, TN office. You will develop independent government cost estimates and review contractor estimates, applying D&D and environmental management knowledge to ensure cost reasonableness and lifecycle cost projections.

The role requires a 4-year degree in construction management, engineering or related field and 3–10 years in conceptual estimating for federal, military, or commercial projects;

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline with 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in conceptual estimating and design/build for Federal, Military, and commercial construction/renovation projects.
• Experience with EVMS processes and estimating software (Timberline, Primavera P6, Cobra, MII, Deltek Costpoint).
• Detailed knowledge of cost estimating, including developing BOEs and cost histories; familiarity with codes of accounts.
• Knowledge of current pricing and construction practices; proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimating expertise to support DOE/DoD/USACE programs.
• Develop and review various cost estimates, including IGCEs and Baseline Cost Proposals.
• Lead development and validation of Life Cycle Baseline (LCB) cost estimates for quality and reasonableness.
