• Maintain security of the institution as part of the Correctional Systems Department.
• Handle mail, receiving and discharge, records, inmate transport, and processing of writs.
• Interpret judgments for filing detainers and manage Interstate Agreement on Detainers (IAD) procedures.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies and ensure compliance with court directives.
• Address inmate inquiries and support sentence computation and related processes.
