Joint Strategic Technologies seeks an experienced Contracts Manager in Washington, D.C. This full-time role focuses on federal government contracts, from proposal through renewal, with emphasis on compliance, performance, and relationships with government officials.

Qualifications

• BA or BS from an accredited institution.
• At least five years of technical assistance experience, including one year in personnel management and oversight of contract performance.
• Must read/write/speak English to communicate with Government officials and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of federal government contracts from proposal to renewal.
• Interpret contract terms, statements of work, deliverables, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor performance, milestones, funding, invoices, and compliance obligations.
• Serve as main contact for government contracting officials and subcontractors.
• Support contract negotiations, extensions, and change requests.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation with legal, finance, and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, agency requirements, and company policies.
• Track funding, ceilings, options, and key dates for timely action.
• Review and support preparation of deliverables and customer communications.
• Coordinate with proposals and business development on new opportunities.
