Job summary

YRCI in Arlington, VA seeks an experienced Contract Specialist to provide acquisition and contract management support for federal government projects. The role requires knowledge of FAR and MMAR, and the ability to manage pre-award and post-award activities while delivering high-quality contract documentation.

You will work with a team to plan, develop, execute, and administer a wide range of contracted projects, ensuring compliance with federal laws.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years Federal acquisition experience.
Experience with General Service Administration (GSA) contracts is desirable.
Strong Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis and use of procurement software tools.
Excellent communication and research skills.

Responsibilities

Provide acquisition and contract management support for federal procurements.
Ensure compliance with FAR, MMAR, and agency supplements.
Demonstrate experience with contracting, including pre-award and post-award functions.
Plan, develop, execute, and administer a wide range of contracted projects.
Independently manage complex procurements and ensure compliance with all Federal laws and regulations.
