Qualifications

• All academic degrees and coursework must be from an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
• Superior Academic Achievement requires a transcript for consideration.
• Class standing must place you in the upper third of the graduating class.
• GPA must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or 3.5+ for the major field as applicable.
• Election to membership in a national scholastic honor society may apply if recognized.
• If education is a basic requirement or substitution, an OFFICIAL transcript must be provided before the first day.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in hematology, blood bank, coagulation, serology, urinalysis, microbiology, and chemistry.
• Provide generalist testing across disciplines and collect specimens as required.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of laboratory methods, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance procedures.
• Uphold security responsibilities in accordance with correctional institution requirements.
